Orange-Picking at Desselle's Citrus & More

The Desselle family has invited CHEF of GNO to pick oranges at their farm (12330 Willow Drive New Orleans, LA 70131). On Tuesday, December 12 at 1:00PM, we will get an introduction to the property and a few rules. Questions are also welcome at that time. Then each family will receive a bag to fill ($5 for 5lbs, cash on site). Kids can sample the fruit while they pick, free of charge. Families are welcome to stay as long as they like. Please dress for a farm-like setting. No nice shoes or clothes! There is no public restroom. Also be aware that there are active honey bee hives. If we leave them alone, they will leave us alone. Just make a note if you have an allergy.
